Short story about our work with Auticsm Connections Fredericton and what we managed to achieve.
Our task
Their old website was built years ago and did not meet the modern design and technology standards and needed to be completely reworked. Additionally, since the ACF does not have a dedicated web administrator with adequate qualifications, a content management system with a very simple interface had to be created in order to edit content on the website.
The amazing work they do at the ACF became an inspiration for us, and we decided to not only craft a fresh website, but to reflect the essence of their organization with it.

About ACF
Autism Connections Fredericton (ACF) is a locally based non-profit organization committed to helping individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), their family, friends, and professionals working with them in the Fredericton area.

Geometry & Layout
Simple and comprehensive layout allows us to guide a visitor and provides them with a feeling of complete control.
Using geometric shapes to emphasize the essence of what's important, creating a quick snapshot of the information to minimize the time required to figure out what the page is about.
Navigation & Structure
Reworked Structure
New tree-like structure with logically branching pages and blocks of information.
Convenient Navigation
The website became very easy to navigate for any user regardless of their age.
Friendly Design
Welcoming and warm design that helps visitors feel safe and welcome.
Snappy Graphics
Colorful icons, carefully picked and thoughtfully placed images providing extra guidance.

Easy to Use
The CMS system needed to be designed in such a way, so that any person could operate it. Adding images, posts, editing pages.
Fail Safe
Having no trained specialists to operate the website, ACF asked us to failproof the system. That way anyone could make changes to it and not ruin everything with an incorrect move.
Functional
The CMS had to not only be easy to use, but also provide all the necessary functionality, including adding/removing images, blocks on every page, editing posts, titles and menu items.
